Here’s a review I wrote about the film “Pariah,” which wowed audiences at Sundance earlier this year and got picked up by Focus Features. That’s big, people. It will open in theaters this December.
The Real World is in season 26, and the show is back in San Diego, featuring two LGBT cast members, one of whom I interviewed for AfterEllen: Interview with Samantha “Sam” McGinn of the Real World San Diego. Here is a recap of episode 1.
And oh HEY! Look at these dudes. Taken at Wednesday night party DILF for older men and their admirers for Time Out New York. The rest of the gallery is here.

All right. So here’s a preview of Invasion of the Pines 2011, an annual event that grew out of a protest that started in 1976, when a drag queen was denied service at a hoity toity establishment in the mostly gay community Fire Island Pines. See, the Pines was a bit snooty and conservative compared to the other gay community on Fire Island, Cherry Grove. When the drag queen’s sistas in the Grove heard what happened, they all dressed up in drag, jumped on a ferry and stormed the Pines. It’s just gotten bigger and crazier ever since.

More from the Invasion coming on AfterEllen soon.
Other events I’ll be photographing:
The 90′s TV party at the Bell House in Brooklyn – Thursday, July 7 – for Time Out New York
Q-Girls – Wednesday, July 13 for Time Out New York
Diva on the Shore – July 16-17 for AfterEllen
See you there!

From FV Events (Tony Fornabaio and Brandon Voss) and Josh Wood and Jared Needle came a ridiculously huge Australian themed Pride party attended by thousands of shirtless men. Here is a preview. You can see the rest here in Time Out New York.
